Responsibilities:
Primary responsibility is to plan, management, drive, maintain space planning, infrastructure changes and request, design install and support lab infrastructure equipment. Assist in purchasing and equipment selection; for Englewood Test and Development projects, programs and sustaining efforts. Be the primary interface to local IT for coordination and support.
Detailed responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Administrations of local SANs and NAS setups within the lab.
- Assist development and test departments in the labs with administration of the lab networks, domains.
- Provide general systems support for lab servers, test stations, component installations and debug, specialized environment setup.
- Assist in final lab cabling, equipment power up and cable routing design.
- Equipment upgrade and build up of specialized prototype units in support of new programs.
- Work with various Operation Systems like Windows, LINUX, UNIX, MAC.
Qualifications:
- Excellent knowledge of Fiber Channel technologies.
- Excellent knowledge of SAN, NAS and RAID Technologies.
- Excellent knowledge of the windows and Linux based networks.
- Good knowledge of network switches, routers.
- Ability to manage multiple domains and networks.
- Knowledge about computer hardware assembly and Raid technology.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong desire to learn new technology and willing to be challenged.
- Must be able to work in an extremely fast pace environment.
- Must be able to deliver against multiple objectives simultaneously.
- Organized, self-starter with a strong ownership attitude a must.
- A+ Certification desired.
- CAD, Visio or equivalent planning/design software a plus.
