Responsibilities:
Perform design and development of software for disk based backup products focusing on deduplication, replication, and associated policies. Duties will include writing functional and design specifications, developing and maintaining new products and features. Will work closely with other development team members, Service, Marketing and possibly OEMs.
Qualifications:
BS or MS CS/EE, 10+ years total software development experience in Linux/Unix is required.
Direct experience developing products in any of the following areas is required: file systems, network programming, NFS/CIFS. Knowledge of Linux kernel internals and network protocols, and storage system software is a plus. Must have full product lifecycle experience and technical leadership experience.
Must have C/C++ programming experience, design/architecture skills, good verbal and written communication skills, and ability to work both independently and in a small team environment.
May require some travel.
