Responsibilities:
This is a territory account management position, specializing in the sales of network-based storage products through resellers and partners.
Responsibilities include:
- Owning a quota number for a specific set of midrange products.
- Coordinate with the Regional Sales Manager within the territory to create, implement and execute on a cohesive territory business plan driving midrange product sales thru multi tiered channels.
- Ensure accurate funnel management and representation with Sales Force.com.
- Work closely with Field Sales Reps, Channel Partners, and other teammates to generate midrange product revenue in the most efficient method, ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction throughout the process. These efforts include developing strategies to penetrate the existing install base, new customers and engage from pre-sales to close of business.
- Disposition/Qualify all incoming opportunities, either from the Lead Generation team or other means, and allocate to field/partners/self according to the best channel for closing the business.
Qualifications:
- The ideal candidate has outstanding verbal and written communication skills, the drive to succeed, a basic understanding of sales and marketing processes and understands what drives buyer behavior. A Bachelor's in a business field and a background/interest in technology enable the candidate to quickly grasp the value of Quantum products to customers and to transport the value proposition confidently and convincingly to influencers and the actual buyer.
- Ability to multitask and be systems savvy.
- 2+ years customer-facing experience in a competitive high tech environment, preferably the BURA marketplace.
- Enterprise application/product set and storage experience preferred.
- Demonstrated success in sales that indicates a balance between planning, action and execution.
- Strong technical and business acumen.
