Responsibilities:
- This position is responsible for growing Quantum’s business with key partner in the ANZ Region.
- Primary responsibility is to meet and exceed quarterly and annual revenue quota assignments for the region.
- The Alliance Manager will manage the relationship with nominated partners to create and identify new opportunities, manage product sales growth and product introductions into these accounts.
- Provide support to the partners’ sales effort and build Quantum’s profile internally to those partners as a strategic partner.
- Candidate is expected to work independently, seeking opportunities to develop business with the partners.
- Candidate will also work cross-organizationally with Quantum Sales Teams, Corporate and Channel Marketing, Systems Engineers, Product Marketing, Sales Operations, Accounting and Tech Support.
- Partner List will include: EMC Australia/DELL Australia/XSI /Alphawest/Fujitsu/Dimension Data.
Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of the data protection market – including hardware and software, SANs, backup/restore and sizing practices
- Reasonable understanding of related storage products such as primary disk (SAN and NAS) solutions, switches, HBAs
- Strong knowledge and contacts within the industries
- Experience in dealing with senior IT management within prospect sites
- Proficient in writing proposal content to assist resellers to be successful in winning tenders
- Understanding of role of resellers/partners in the hardware market in ANZ
- Very high proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Windows
